John Paul L. Martinez
Also known as Potch or Jay Pee to many, he is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts at Holy Angel University (HAU). Currently taking up Masters in Public Administration at the same school. Employed as a graphic artist at the said school under the Multi media Technology Office, ITSS Department. He his in charge of the graphical/creative works of HAU and supports the different offices in their activities by doing invitations, lay outing certificates, banners, tarpaulins, brochures, flyers, etc.
He worked as an Advertising Supervisor (AdS) at Hype Ventures Inc. under Unilever Philippines. During his stay as Ads, he implemented several projects to promote the company to several supermarkets particularly in Pampanga and Tarlac.
For five years, he was connected to Jollibee Foods Corp. as a Production Controller, Service Crew and Cashier. He was a working student but was able to engage in several extra curricular activities. He was the first President and founder of the Communicator’s League, a college based organization catering specifically to all communication arts student. A dean’s lister and a role model student during his college years.
He took his high school years at the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary in San Fernando, Pampanga. He served as a class president, a community vice-president, a community president. A consistent achiever and a Valedictorian during their Commencement Exercise.
Potch is knowledgeable in many computer applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Audition, Adobe Encore. Corel Draw and MS Office.
He took Public Administration as a major because his vision of changing the current political system by teaching the students the basic foundation of good governance. He may not be connected to the government but he thinks that empowering the young people thru proper education, values and ethics may help bringing up a society that respect the rights of every individual.
